Richard Amerian (1937 in Los Angeles -2001) was a judge who held various posts in the California court system.
A successful attorney with degrees from USC, Amerian was appointed to the Los Angeles Municipal Court in 1970. After serving in this position for eight years, he was appointed to the Los Angeles Superior Court, where he served until 1982. That year, he was appointed as an associate justice to the California Court of Appeal, a position in which he served until 1984.
