Leslie Ayvazian is an award-winning playwright, actress, and teacher.


Ayvazian’s numerous plays, including High Dive, Plan Day, A Naked Girl on the Appian Way, and Make Me, have been produced on Broadway and Off-Broadway and in major regional theaters.


Ayvazian has appeared in several feature films, including Working Girl, Alice, and Regarding Henry. She is a recurring guest star in the series of the Law & Order franchise.


Currently an adjunct professor at the Gaduate School of Columbia University, Ayvazian is the recipient of the Roger L. Stevens Prize and the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for her play Nine Armenians.
