Katcho Achadjian (born in Lebanon) was elected to the California State Assembly in 2010, representing the 33rd District, and reelected in 2012, representing the 35th District.

Prior to his tenure in the legislature, Achadjian, a Republican, served three terms as a member of the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors as well as its chairman in 2001 and 2006.

Achadjian has also been a member of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Advisory Council since 1989 and served as its chairman from 1994 to 1995.
