Rouzanna Berberian
Rouzanna Berberian is a multidisciplinary artist and art educator based in Los Angeles, CA.
Bio
Rouzanna Berberian is primarily known for her circuit board-inspired paintings and her light and shadow photography. Her conceptual approach addresses contemporary issues such as data collection, security, storage, and the influence of microchip technology on society. Rouzanna earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Los Angeles, and has participated in both solo and group exhibitions throughout the Greater Los Angeles area and in Armenia. She was nominated for the Music Center's BRAVO awards for excellence in art education, and her photographs were selected by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, portraying "A Day in the Life of Asian Pacific America." Additionally, she is one of the founding members of She Loves Collective and engages in art performances aimed at promoting social change. Her work is included in numerous public and private collections.
