Blurring The Lines Between Fine Art And Fashion.
Bio
Born into an Armenian family on September 29, 1979, in the Soviet Union, Irena G. Minasyan moved from Moscow to the United States in 1996. She graduated from Glendale High School in 1998, where her passion for art truly took shape during her senior year.
In 2008, she earned a B.A. in Studio Arts with an emphasis in Painting from the University of California, Los Angeles. Years of private studio training in realism provided a strong technical foundation, which later evolved into a distinctive fusion of deconstructed realism and abstraction.
Currently, Irena is a self-employed artist and the founder of Irengi, a clothing brand that transforms her abstract art into wearable designs. Through Irengi, she extends her creative vision beyond the canvas, turning apparel and accessories into unique pieces of art.
