Parents with children are especially welcome.
Lullabies, a bilingual collection of traditional Armenian lullabies, is a gathering of valuable songs from different regions of historical Armenia, drawn from the repertoire of Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Hasmik Harutyunyan.
The author has collected, classified, and annotated about 57 lullaby songs from printed and unprinted sources. The collection includes a list of sources, a dictionary of dialect and foreign words, and an accompanying CD featuring the first performances of numerous lullabies.
This project preserves a delicate and deeply emotional part of Armenian musical heritage — songs once sung by mothers and grandmothers, carrying comfort, love, and memory across generations.
The event is intended for those interested in the traditional Armenian lullaby genre and for the music-loving public. Families are warmly invited, and parents with kids are especially welcome to experience these gentle melodies together in a cozy, nurturing atmosphere.
