Bio
Eric Bogosian (born 1953 in Woburn, Massachusetts) is an award-winning comedian, actor, and author. He is a graduate of Oberlin College.
Between 1980 and 2000, Bogosian performed a string of critically acclaimed one-man shows such as Men Inside and Wake Up and Smell the Coffee, which have earned three Obie awards and a Drama Desk Award.
Bogosian went on to write and/or star in several highly regarded plays, including Talk Radio, which was later adapted for the big screen. One of his other plays, subUrbia, was also turned into a movie.
Bogosian has acted in several films including Talk Radio, Deconstructing Harry, Ararat, and Wonderland.
From 2006 to 2010, Bogosian was a regular on the iconic television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent, as Captain Danny Ross.
Bogosian is also an accomplished novelist. His books include Mall, Wasted Beauty, and Perforated Heart.
Bogosian is a Guggenheim fellow and the recipient of two fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts.
